Pastor was born in East St. Louis, IL in 1959. His family moved to Otterville, IL in 1961. Pastor is proud of the historical town of Otterville as it has the first free school in Illinois and believed in the USA. Pastor was saved at the age of 8 years old. He lives his life for the Lord and loves serving Jesus. Pastor was youth director for Otterville Baptist Church for many years. Pastor was married in 1977 to Patricia Fenstermaker Renken. They were blessed with four children, Kenneth, Michelle, Matthew, and Willian “Dean”. Pastor wife, daughter and youngest son have gone to be with Lord. Pastor also has four grandsons, Dylan, Zachary, Austin, and Connor. Pastor came to North Alton Baptist Church on March 1, 2006 as a Bi-vocational, as he work as a Paramedic for Jersey Community Hospital Ambulance. After Pastor retired in October 18, 2018, he became our Fulltime pastor November 1, 2018. Pastor’s mission is to see souls saved for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and help North Alton Baptist Church grow in faith and obedience. Pastor enjoys sharing the Word of God in person at Bible Study, Worship Time and even on Facebook and You Tube.
